I can't believe these are the only pictures I have of Carden's new bike. I've been a slacker lately.
We bought Carden a new bike, letting him graduate from his tricycle. He thinks he is big. So very, very big. He still smiles every time he gets on it. I didn't want to wait until his birthday to get it for him, wanting him to be able to ride it while it's still nice out.
I had hoped he would be able to keep up with me when I go running, since he hates riding in the jogging stroller, but unfortunately he is still only three. He's pretty fast on it now, but he gets distracted by everything he sees. "Mom, hang on I need to scratch my nose." "Wait! Look at this yucky poop!" "Mom! There's an airplane in the sky! Stop everything!" A run that takes me 20 minutes ends up taking over an hour when he rides. Sigh. Oh well, maybe someday.
