Panic Time

So, I'm starting to panic.  I have less than four months before this baby comes and besides some baby clothes from family and co-workers, we we have nothing.  NOTHING.  Not even a name. Not even any ideas for a name.  One time at work this polygamist family came in with twin girls who were like a month old.  Their names?  Baby A and Baby B.  Because they couldn't think of any names! And now it's looking like that will be us.  So anyone?  Name ideas?  I'm starting to get a little desperate here!

Joshua Maximus McAwesome Jr. Start dropping hints that you want someone to throw you a baby shower.

Ask and Ye Shall Receive!

My vote is still for Jonathon (or Aidan but I know that's been vetoed).

Other suggestions :
Andrew, Alexander, Aidan, Adam
Brandon, Brad
Charles, Calvin, Connor,
David, Daniel,
Ephraim, Ethan,
Frederick, Felix
Gerald, George, Gideon, Gabe,
Henry, Harry,
Isaac, Isaiah,
James, Joseph,
Kevin, Keith, Kyle (don't choose more than one of these; we don't want your baby to have the initials KKK)
Lucas, Lawrence, Lars (kidding;)
Matthew, Marc,
Nicholas,
Owen, Oliver
Peter, Patrick, Phillip,
Quinn,
Robert, Randall, Rhys, Richard
Steven, Samuel, Scott, Seth,
Trevor, Theodore, Terrence, Timothy
Ulysses,
Victor, Vincent,
Walter, William, Wesley,
Xavier,
Yale,
Zeke, Zachariah

Yes, I know a few are more nontraditional than you'd like but there really aren't many X and Y names to choose from.

Halfway? Awesome! No worries (not that I know) everything will work out. The name will come to you for sure. :)

You don't need as much as you think you do. Seriously, I felt guilty when people would ask me, "So, how are you decorating his room?" We couldn't really afford to do anything special. Plus, with your first one you will be so freaked out and checking to make sure he is breathing all the time that it is just easier to have him in your bedroom for awhile. My one suggestion, if possible, is to have a diaper shower or just start picking up a pack of diapers every time you go to the store. (BTW, the extra bucks you pay for Swaddlers are worth it. Get the ones that tell you if they have soiled their diaper.) If you are breastfeeding then you'll have everything you need for awhile. Buy a pack of onsies and a church outfit and you will be set. However, if you've got the cash and you want to spend, GO CRAZY! Nothing is more fun to buy then stuff for your babies.

Trish's List of Stuff She Wished She Knew About When She Was Having Her First:

1. Swaddlers-the new ones come with a yellow line that turns green when it is wet.
2. Lanolin- It is very important to start preparing for breastfeeding EARLY. It can be a horrible experience if you are in pain.
3. Tummy Butter- This is not just for after. Using it now will help your skin stretch.
4. Wipes are good for EVERYTHING.
5. Using formula is not the end of the world. It is good to have a little travel size can in your bag for errands that take to long, emergencies, or just when you want a break because you don't feel like breastfeeding at the moment.

I don't know if you wanted all this advice or not but I just want you to enjoy this baby thing. It is really great and the first one is so scary because you have no idea what to expect. You'll do great. Be prepared to cry when they sit down on your hospital bed and just tell you ALL these things that you HAVE to do. You will feel like "HOW AM I GOING TO DO ALL THIS" Somehow you just do and it is awesome.

marcus of course didn't realize you were having a boy. don't use stella. how about Joe, ray, bass? actually the boy names i want to use are Shea and Jonas. You can use them too if you want, but if i still like them when we ever have a boy i still get to use them. how is your summer break?

A lady told me we could name our baby "Justin Case" which I thought Justin is a nice name, but it is just in case you can't think of a name. We like Kade and Carter. You are welcome to either. It is a compliment when someone uses your name because it means they like it.

Even if you don't have a name picked out yet, I just wanted to tell you I'm so excited for you! Love you, Larsie. :)

I love the name Noah for a little boy. Do you want a traditional name? I like names that not a lot of people have like matix or nash( which is becoming more popular) Can i throw you a shower?
