One year...

Holy crap, where has the time gone?  Josh and I celebrated our one year anniversary yesterday.  Since it was on a Sunday, we couldn't really do much.  Church, friends, a nap--the ususal.  But Saturday and Monday were the real celebration!  On Saturday Josh and I spent the morning choosing carpet for our new house! And on Monday we signed the paperwork and made it official.  What a great anniversary present.

Speaking of anniversary presents, I feel like I should share with everyone what I got Josh, cause it's kind of a big deal for me.  I gave him puppy food, pee-pee pads, a dog bone, and permission to get the puppy he's dying for.  And now I think it's going to be me who dies.  Yes, I guess there will be an animal in a house of mine.  I never thought I would ever agree to this, but it's crazy how marriage can change you.  So now in addition to paint shopping, we get to go puppy shopping as well.

What? Who is this girl and where did Lars go? Remember how freaked out you were of Barkley (Dave's lab). And what a hard time you gave Jay & I over Joaquin... A Golden... the nicest dogs ever!!!! I'm going to have to see pictures to believe you're going to have a dog in your new house :) Congrats on the 1 year and congrats on the new home!! Now we need to come visit hotel King. Miss you guys, Heather

fun! congrats on a whole year! your dog sounds fun in 2 years from now, when there's no more poop on the floor and your shoes are all perfectly - not-chewed up. haha! i could hardly handle having my sister's puppy at our house for 2 days! good luck! i'm sure you'll grow to love it too.

HAHAHAHAHA. Lars. Oh Larsie larsie baby. She who hates canines with the passion of the apocalypse. This is terrific. You must seriously be in love. :) What kind of dog will you get? Now there is absolutely no way I can miss out on visiting you. Congrats on the on year, I can't believe how quickly the time passes!

FYI, we will NOT be getting a dog that even comes close to resembling Barkley or Joaquin. It will be a dog that forever remains puppy size. And he will NOT chew all my shoes, since he'll be in the laundry room when we're not home and outside when we are. And one more--he will NOT sleep in my bed!
